Maximizing Your Assurant Dental Benefits

It may sound counterintuitive, but it’s true. By maintaining six month dental checkups, you’ll avoid many severe oral health issues that require advanced treatments. Because dental insurance plans provide the greatest percentage of coverage for preventive services, you’ll have low out of pocket costs for these treatments and reduce your risk for dental health concerns or damage that require more advanced treatments that receive less coverage. At Kind Care Dentistry, we’re here to help you better understand your Assurant dental care plan, and we will be happy to review your specific coverage and fully explain the out of pocket costs of every treatment before we begin your plan. Most patients with Assurant dental insurance receive the following coverage in exchange for the payment of their monthly premiums:

Benefits of In-Network Dental Care

Dental insurance written on post it note next to cup of coffeeIf you have coverage through a PPO insurance plan, you don’t have to visit an in-network dentist. These policies are designed to allow patients flexibility to choose their dentist and still receive insurance coverage. However, if you do visit an in-network dentist, you can expect to have the lowest out of pocket costs. In-network dentists have agreed to the insurer’s fair and average pricing for dental services, so you will only be responsible for the out of pocket percentage of dentistry treatments. Out of network dentists may charge higher fees, but you’ll have to pay the difference in pricing as well as the out of pocket costs. At an in-network dental office, you won’t have to worry about paying any additional fees for your necessary dentistry services.

Payment Options

If you want to spread the cost of treatment out over several months, we offer flexible financing options. We work with CareCredit to provide low and no interest financing plans for qualified patients. If you don’t have traditional dental insurance, we also offer an in-office savings plan to offset the costs of dental care.
